RT-130 Annual Fireline Safety Refresher Training Training
Schedule
Annual Fireline Safety Refresher Training is designed to provide up to date fireline
safety information to employees holding Incident Command System qualifications requiring this
training per the PMS 310-1, Wildland Fire Qualification System Guide.
The RT-130 Annual Fireline Safety Refresher Training is required each year. This course
is an eight hour block of instruction. The course covers Risk Management,
Entrapment Avoidance, Fire Behavior Refresher, LCES, Fire Orders, Eighteen
Watch Out Situations and Fire Shelter Training, and NIFC emphasis items; each student will
be required to successfully deploy a fire shelter.
Course
hours: 8 A.M.
to 5 P.M.
Prerequisites: none.
Target Positions: Firefighters, operators of water tenders, dozers, skidders, feller bunchers, graders, excavators, buses, transports, shop & fuel trucks, ambulances, fallers, drivers of pickups, SUVs, sedans, & cargo or any operator who will be going to the fireline.
Maximum Class Size: 30
Location: Aero Methow Rescue Service, 1005 Highway 20 S, Twisp,
WA. This is on the left or south side of the highway, about two
blocks before crossing the Methow River Bridge, as you enter
Twisp from the south.
Cost: $65.00 per student - Includes course materials, handouts
and a certificate of completion. Fees may be paid by cash or check at the training session.
Student Responsibility: New 2010 IRPG will be provided. Bring fireline boots, hardhat, and gloves for shelter deployment practice.
