RT-130 Annual Fireline Safety Refresher Training Training
Schedule
The RT-130 Annual Fireline Safety Refresher Training is required each year. This course
is an eight hour block of instruction. The course covers Risk Management,
Entrapment Avoidance, Fire Behavior Refresher, LCES, Fire Orders, Eighteen
Watch Out Situations and Fire Shelter Training; each student will
be required to sucessfully deploy a fire shelter IN 25 SECONDS or LESS!
Course
hours: 9 A.M.
to 6 P.M.
Prerequisites: Minimum Firefighter II, Contract Faller, or Tender Operator.
Student Responsibility: Student should bring an IRPG (2006), fireline boots, hardhat, and gloves.
Maximum Class Size: 25
Location: Chelan County Sheriff DEM office,
408 N. Western, corner of 5th & Western at the old fire station, Wenatchee, Washington 98801. Park in the back or front of the fire station, but do not block the bay doors.
Cost: $65.00 per student - Includes course materials, handouts
and a certificate of completion. An additional $25 will be charged if you changed companies since last year and had previous training from an NWSA certified instructor. This is to cover the database records transfer fee charged to Fire Vision LLC by NWSA. Tuition may be paid by cash or check at the class.
